Wasted potential, despite having a great career so far. He should have been even better than he is now, at 28 years of age, in his prime. If I had the choice of taking the player we signed or the player we have now, it's the one we signed, every day of the week! He hasn't improved as a player whilst here, which is gutting. Special talent that doesn't look like reaching the dizzy heights he was capable of. Sad but true.

I rewatched the game also.
From my seat in the ground I thought similar, that he's looking a little on the slide and thought he struggled.
However rewatching the game today, I thought his desire and burst of speed were there. There were a few occassions where he bust in front of his man.
Don't get me wrong, there were occassions where his speed of thought or choice of pass were a little off, but I thought in the main his game was good.
There was on point where he gave their centre half metres of head start and beat him to the ball by two foot, the ball just held up otherwise he was clean through from nothing but his speed and speed of thought.

Pep has him playing a totally different game and he's adapting.
I do believe he's in his later years of his City career, but there's some excellent games left in him yet.
Can't really fault him for putting in the effort in hustling the defenders,he did a job.
More worried that i don't feel confident enough that he'll score when he's in and around the box nowadays even on penalties, like when Zaba put him through with only Toby & Lloris to beat and other many instances in the past 18 months or so.
Maybe he's low on confidence, getting to understand what Pep demands of him..Time will tell.Hope Pep tries out him and G.Jesus as a pair in attack for and see how he does.If he doesn't improve his performances, all good things must come to an end..We'll shake hands and move our separate ways.

Watched the highlights against Spurs. There were a number of occasions where there were great opportunities - 2 against 3 or 3 against three 3 - where Kun was on the ball and Sané, KDB or Sterling were in space. Each time he'd just take a bit too long on the ball and the chance would go begging.

He certainly wasn't the only culprit in that sense, but it's clearly not quite gelling for him right now.

I know it sounds crazy but maybe the one year contract extension was for use in bargaining if/when the time came to sold him. Hence why it was never announced largely as it would upset the fans more

Have watched the training videos and pics on the OS all week and no sign of him. Could be nothing and him just not being in the pics and videos but I was surprised when they showed the finishing video the other day that he wasn't involved. Kelechi, Nolito, Sane, Sterling, Navas & Jesus were practising finishing but no Aguero. As I say it might be nothing but I'm not expecting him to be involved tomorrow

I have heard about a fall out from someone in the press. Maybe true maybe not. Either way he hasn't reached the great heights for a couple of years now. I still hope.

I’m guessing that Liverpool fans would say the same about Robbie Fowler and Michael Owen who both peaked in their early 20s before injuries gradually wore them down (just compare Fowler’s original lean, youthful physique with the overweight liability who arrived at Maine Road in 2003)

Fowler was only 28 when he joined City, and Owen was even younger when he left Real Madrid for Newcastle.

Sadly, I fear that Aguero’s mounting injuries have niggled at his consistency, and whilst still scoring goals, his overall contribution is slowly diminishing, especially in the big games.

Convinced he is on his way out - can't put my finger on one reason but its related to no longer being the biggest or only star, rumours about what a poor trainer he is, competition for his place, loss of pace etc etc

For years he has been untouchable and this summer that all changed

think that the attacking line up we saw on Saturday is intended to be the future
