Convinced he is on his way out - can't put my finger on one reason but its related to no longer being the biggest or only star, rumours about what a poor trainer he is, competition for his place, loss of pace etc etc

For years he has been untouchable and this summer that all changed

think that the attacking line up we saw on Saturday is intended to be the future

I don't think it's that clear cut.

There's certainly something off, but I don't think it's irretrievable. He needs to go through a transformation similar to the one Yaya has, but I do think he's trying. He's trying to make the runs, he had a very complex pressing role vs. Spurs and carried it off very well, and he may have lost a yard, but he's still fast enough to be useful, and he's still young enough that he can work around it.

I'm expecting a reaction from him with Jesus arriving and looking superb. Aguero may just be another who allowed themselves to fall into complacency over the last 2 years and he can still come back.

Be interested to see if he and GJ can form a partnership up front for the remainder of the season. Many a wet dreams would be had!

Was unlucky that the game basically ended when he came on, would be good to see him with Jesus more, but also see how he manages with Sané and Sterling now everyone has their confidence up again and is hitting hit form.

A big difference between Jesus and Aguero is that Jesus' first instinct is to lay the ball off and move whilst Aguero's is to trap it then see if he can take anyone on, thus slowing the play down. Aguero has to adapt or risk spending more time on the bench.

I think this is what Sergio has needed for a couple of years. At last some competition.

Don't write the great man off just yet.
