I can buy into what you are saying but given that we need not only to catch up points but also goal difference what do you think of a back three with Sterling and Sane as wingbacks and Sergio & Jesus as a strike pairing for Swansea?

7-0 in the last 2 games, If we just keep doing what we're doing, the goal difference issue will resolve itself by the end of the month.

Swansea have the worst defensive record in the league, fingers crossed we'll put a few past them.

Pretty much agree with that. If we replaced him with Griezemann or Dyabla I think it would be far from a total catastrophe...in fact I think we would actually be a better squad.
 
Everybody keeps saying that Jesus, sane and sterling are the future they are not they are the here and now . All three are on form and need to be played . Jesus is still an unknown quantity to most teams defences and that advantage needs to be used because it won't be an advantage for long . Swansea defence isn't the best but they know what to expect from Augero from Jesus they don't , sure they have seen him play on the telly but they haven't played against him yet ,we need to utalise this for as long as we can . Kun is a brilliant striker but he has to realise that Jesus is on fire at the moment and needs to be played .

You think GJ gets a rest or same front three?
 
Gordon no one is saying get rid of Augero he is one of the top strikers in the world, but would you drop Jesus for Sunday's game ? Class is permanant but form isn't and Jesus is in form right now .

Genuinely don't mind. I just don't know how you can drop the front 3 at the moment, and I'd want to keep playing Jesus when things are going well because he's still only just arrived and you want to solidify this strong start and it would be good to give him a proper home debut.

But then again, we're hoping to inspire Aguero into playing better, make him feel replaceable, but not replaced. So I'd be worried about leaving him out for a 3rd game in a row.

I thought he'd drop Sterling, but then he chose to rest him, so now I doubt he will.
