How can anyone say anything about sergio after what he's done for city.
Every team in the world would want to sign him.
Pep will find a way to fit him onto the side I'm sure he will.
When he leaves he deserves to be our top scorer and the all time foreign top scorer in the prem.
Genuine legend

Those writing Aguero off will be as wrong as those who have been quick to write off so many other players prematurely and left with egg on their face.
We should all be made up that he's finally not having to take on all the pressure of being our only goal threat, instead of rushing him out the door because he's not had his best 12 months.
Thankfully I don't believe Pep will be as quick to pass judgement on him and he'll see out his contract before going home.

I agree. Although last night was exciting we must not get carried away. I also noted that when Sergio came on he played some passes he would normally have ignored. Once he is hitting the net again and plays other players in (something he has not done enough imho) all will be good again.

I'm hoping that the arrival of Jesus gives Aguero the kick up the arse he needs. Jesus last night did everything Aguero should do in terms of off the ball movements.

Maybe I was seeing things that weren't there but I got the impression that Jesus was intimidated by Sergio's presence when he came on. I wonder if Pep has been trying to get them connected on a personal level so they can link better in a game.

That first half was like no performance we have seen this season with Kun playing. You can't hide that or gloss over it. Neither can anyone deny that he has been out of sorts for much of this season and although his goal scoring record remains exemplary he has put in some poor performances. I do think this is a bit of a watershed moment for him with the arrival of Gabriel Jesus. Can he adapt his game to become a playmaker as well as goal scorer? Can he live with the dynamism that Pep requires both offensively and defensively? To do it he will need to add stuff to his locker and fully embrace what Pep wants. Its a big ask as Yaya only needed to change his attitude - he already had the skill set. He is a club legend and I truly hope he can do it.

Hard to accept for some, since he's a legend here but G.Jesus,Sané & Raz have to be in the XI henceforth..Where that leaves Aguero will depend on how Pep sets us up..3 at the back,2 upfront is the only way he gets into the XI imo..Might have to settle for the bench on current form though.

Nice to see you posting again (I still like you) :-)

Barcelona H, 2nd half.

Barcelona H, 2nd half.

Thought the attacking display, defence from the front, pace and dynamism in the first half last night was a step above what we saw in 2nd half vs Barcelona, impressive though that was. Would you have put Kun in your top 3 or 4 contributors to that result?
