Surely his fee will pay for any replacement? And i believe its exactly an area we need to,Jesus has shown in a few games just how much more effective a spirited, industrious and more team oriented striker is to this team.

His fee should pay for his replacement, but with City potentially broadcasting that he's not needed/wanted, we'll get much less than he's worth!

Surprised by some of the comments about his workrate, I thought he was making much more of an effort last night. The problem is, he doesn't have (no longer has) the acceleration, pace or stamina of Jesus, Sane or Sterling. This makes him much less effective at pressing the opposition's back 5 and could be perceived as a lack of effort.

There's no doubt he doesn't work as hard as Jesus, but I don't think he has the physical attributes to be able to do so anymore. It's for this reason that I think he'll be moved on in the summer while we can still get a decent fee for him.

He's such a talented player but it's been noticeable recently that he's lost the fizz from his legs.

I think he is trying his best to do what Pep wants in terms of workrate and pressing and he improved the longer he was on the pitch. However, where others would pass to a teammate in a better position, 9 out of 10 times he doesn't and tries to score himself. Counted at least three times last night where he could have passed to a runner and didn't. Thing is, he has always been like that but before, he scored so many great individual goals that he was forgiven. Those types of goals have largely dried up this season and he needs to adapt. Nice play for the second goal though.

Started slow and waa poor...then grew into the game. Its not cause he doesnt have the mentality to press but as someone else pointed out he doesnt have the pace to do so like the 3 young lads.....he was naking effort to do so

The one thing he has over everyone one of them is his natueal talent for goal scoring....interesting that people point out his missed chances over the last few weeks and months but little is said of the chances that sterling sane and jesus miss...of course people want to give the young lads a chance but its a strange phenomenon in football that the same chance usnt accoreded to players like sergio.....is it cause people desire to see new players succeed and seem to think that the only way possible is for the other player to fail...im amazed that some peolle arent more excited at the prospect of sergio and jesus playing together in the same team

Sané and Sterling add so much more than their goals. Apart from the obvious (assists etc.), they are now the focal point of our play. Our attack goes down the wings and is based around putting them 1v1 against players they beat. Their pace and movement is creating 90% of our chances, and they're our first line of defence, pressing like madmen, sprinting back, stopping counterattacks and making interceptions in midfield.

Aguero scores goals. He doesn't create, he doesn't come up with assists, he doesn't add much defensively and he's not particularly involved in build up play.

That's why it's OK for Sterling or Sané to miss chances. Being clinical in front of goal isn't their entire game. I absolutely love Sergio, but even now when he's trying his hardest, if he's not scoring then he's not really contributing.

I agree with everytjing you say except the last bit....if we are to become the team that pep wants...sane sterling and jesus ( not so concerned with him) need to be scoring...it isnt ok for either of them to be misding lots of chances as that is what will win you the game and can sometimes prevent a team comjng back...imagine the scenario last night if kun hadnt got that second goal and then bourmouth had got one then sane missed the very good chance he had....goals win us games and its not ok at times to be missing them.....sterling esp needs to work on this aspect of his game..he missed one (deflection onto the post) from 12 yds last night

Kun is trying defensively but like i said, and you pojnted out, it isnt as good as the other 3. its not down to a lack of effort or willingness...he just hasnt got the raw pace the others possess to close down quick enough.

Like ive also said...id like to see jesus kun and sane in the same front 3 as that is the best 3 in terms of goal threat and you still have the options outwide pressing and tackling back ...some peolle are making out that kun doesnt do it at all which us blatantly not true....he won aeveral duels derp in his own half last night. In the first half he was poor ( though again remember he had had no warm up and was probably and still is match rusty) but he grew into the game and got better and better as the game went one.
