As time goes on I am becoming more and more convinced he will leave us.

First instinct is to shoot, and its so hard to change that. I feel he made a lot of wrong decisions in the build up tonight. Just doesn't fit Pep's philosophy. Gabriel's passing is much, much better, not selfish, works harder, more aggressive, etc. They are polar opposites in terms of what Pep wants from his strikers.

I don't know what happened to Aguero but something is not right. He is a shade of the player he used to be.

He did do this a couple of times....but also in the first half he got to the edge of the 18yd area and he then passed....is rather see him shoot in that position....how many times have you heard of plenty of people on gere complaining we dont shoot enough..

He started slowly but really came into the game....got his goal and from that point his build up play also started to improve...ge is trying to do what pep wants....gj maybe better at the build up part and general play part but there are few better at putting the ball in the net...

For me sane kun and jesus as a 3 is our best foward 3

Sergio' goal all day long.

If the Bournemouth defender had the last touch, then that touch pushed the ball towards the post, meaning the ball was on target BEFORE he got his toe to it.

As I stated, Kun's goal, no doubt.

It was his but they are giving it as an own goal.

What flummoxed me, though, was the NBC Sports commentating team's fixation on whether it was Kun's goal or a Mings own goal. They talked about it several times over the course of 15 minutes of the match, showed the replay from ever possible angle over and over, and one of them received and read out an email from the dubious goals committee indicating they were reviewing the goal... while the match was still ongoing.

It was very strange.

We're trying to grow the sport over here. Fine with any fake drama as NBC has the best coverage you could ever ask for and the game still isn't big over here. Gotta do what they gotta do.

Well, I'm now "over here", so I suppose I need to acclimate.

I wasnt impressed. He didnt work anywhere near hard enough and he looked half hearted much of the time.

I dont think he'll be here next season as Pep will want a player who contributes far more to the team ethic.

Agreed. He hasn't had a mind to pass for weeks. Hell, last week Dave threw his hands up in disgust.

I disagree about last night, thought he was good for the most part.

If he is moved on in the summer, we're going to need a bloody good replacement. Jesus will become the main man, no doubt, but Kelechi is not a worthy backup. It'll mean spending more money where we don't really need to, IMO

Nothing to write home about. His decision-making let him down again. Still the best striker we've ever had.

Surely his fee will pay for any replacement? And i believe its exactly an area we need to,Jesus has shown in a few games just how much more effective a spirited, industrious and more team oriented striker is to this team.

Low on confidence. Thought he tried hard last night but seemed to drop to build up and then not make it into the box to get on the end of the moves he'd helped start.

Touch looked very rusty to begin with.

Needs a few goals.

Looked understandably rusty when he came on but grew into the game. Seems to be the fashionable thing to say these days that he doesn't work hard.

still an amazing forward, but our new style seems to be leaving him behind, there's so much pace upfront, he's being asked to work back , then bang sane and sterling are off like fucking whippets, theres no doubt there is a place for a world class forward at city, but has he got the pace ?

our teams have always been set up to feed aguero, but now our team is set up for the whole team. pace and movement.

I would hate Sergio to leave but if it meant the team improves then its a now brainer imo.
