Sergio Aguero - 2016/17 performances

It seems obvious to me that Kun has lost his head and tried to leave one on Reid.

It's not the first time Kun has got pissed off with over physical defenders either. I remember when David Luiz elbowed Kun and Sergio responded by jumping, two footed, on Luiz's arse.

If Kun gets banned then no one can complain. However, the contact was minimal which might see him escape punishment.

What I don't like is the trial by media. There is zero chance that Sky Sports would have reacted the same way if it was Rug Head who made that challenge.

When you use enough hyperbole you can say that Bardsley did a vile leg breaking 2 footed lunge last week that could have killed Silva. The ref didn't see it so 3 game ban.

Funny how noone called for that.

This is so true. There are always incidents in games, some are seen and some are not. Having retrospective action following a game is a complete nonsense. Sunday afternoon games always have more emphasis because of the viewing figures and the TV angles, pundits, etc.
He probably did lash out a little, but it's no different to lots of different incidents up and down the leagues every weekend. What happens on the field should be dealt with on the field and if it's missed; then that's just football and the ref should be accountable. What's next, ruling out offside goals retrospectively? Absolute nonsense.

After the media finish rimming Manure and it all calms down, Pep will put out a side fit to play at the swamp. Kelechi or KDB up top, Gundogan, Bravo and VK in :) "That's a wankfest"!

Unfortunately that's all it takes these days so there's plenty to see here.
Yep, Interesting that Billic, who is a proper footballing man saw nothing wrong and clearly stated that the substitution was already happening and not injury related. The point of the elbow missed Reid and the only contact was his forearm, nothing violent, unless you are Niall Quinn who ranted about clenched fists and the like -Idiot- if the FA do ban Sergio, that opens up a big mess as they will have to ban players for so called intent and how can they possibly know what goes on in someones mind? Sergio was just fed up with being manhandled from behind, so whereas you shouldn't react, it is understandable that he wanted to break free but I doubt he wished to hurt an opponent.

Keith Hackett just said if mariner didn't see it then kun will get a 3 match ban,but he said the refs are not consistent enough they have been told to stop the shirt pulling that's what Reid was doing to kun.

If that was an off-the-ball incident it might well have been a red card. But it wasn't, they were both challenging for the ball, the referee had a clear view of it and didn't even think it was a foul.

Thing that made me laugh was the suggestion that "Diego Costa wouldn't have got away with that." But he has been doing just that hasn't he because he has faced no retrospective action I can recall for about two years and is involved an incident every week. The same is true of Fellaini. He elbows someone at least once in every match. We all know why this witch hunt is happening now. In fact if you look at it Sergio clearly pulls out at the last minute so it is just a yellow card. Anyway it's a chance for Kylechi to fill his boots at the swamp!

I'm not sure it'll open up a big mess because I'm not sure the people who make the decision see it as setting precedents, they just react week by week, incident by incident on the basis of how much of a shit storm has been kicked up by the usual suspects in the media. I know it isn't an original point, we all know how it goes these days, but it is quite wrong that if Sky choose to bang on and on about an incident then you're fucked and if they choose to turn a blind eye then you're fine. There really has to be a better way as currently players effectively aren't getting fair trials, as it were.
