Aguero's hand actually hits his chest:

And as anybody would, he's gone down clutching his face:

Keith Hackett just said if mariner didn't see it then kun will get a 3 match ban,but he said the refs are not consistent enough they have been told to stop the shirt pulling that's what Reid was doing to kun.
The officials yesterday were useless. The linesman in front of me was no help to ref at all. He'd wait to see which way the ref was going to give it then signal. West Ham are a big physical side and got away with repeatedly fouling our forwards yesterday particularly Sterling and yet the world thanks to the Man Utd trolls are talking about Aguero's elbow. He should not have done it, but it's a reaction to being held, and doesn't connect either.

If the FA ban Aguero then what about Costa, Rooney, Fellaini etc who do this routinely?

We were up against this in 2010-11 and it has started already. They can't stop us on the pitch, so they'll try any other way they can.

After the media finish rimming Manure and it all calms down, Pep will put out a side fit to play at the swamp. Kelechi or KDB up top, Gundogan, Bravo and VK in :) "That's a wankfest"!
He would go for Bony is he is still here. Need the height which is our one weakness and something where Utd are particularly strong.

This is so true. There are always incidents in games, some are seen and some are not. Having retrospective action following a game is a complete nonsense. Sunday afternoon games always have more emphasis because of the viewing figures and the TV angles, pundits, etc.
He probably did lash out a little, but it's no different to lots of different incidents up and down the leagues every weekend. What happens on the field should be dealt with on the field and if it's missed; then that's just football and the ref should be accountable. What's next, ruling out offside goals retrospectively? Absolute nonsense.

I understand it for off the ball incidents that happen nowhere near the ref. Like a player just going over and smacking another in retaliation. But for things happening in the flow of the match as has been said, if you pulled everyone up we would be handing out retrospectives to 10 players every week.

Too often the lino waits for the ref to decide which way the throwing should go. The linos at the MCWFC game yesterday were doing the same. I suspect it is an instruction from the refs - I'll decide everything unless I ask yer!! Marriner was up to his usual standard - poor. Why that Wiiiiiist Hiiiiiim guy was spoken to with only one booking I put down to Marriner's lack of backbone and loss of memory as to which pocket he had returned the yellow card. He booked Ferny for what might have been a stud or two off the ground, Noble for not being nice, but that guy was taking out players all bloody match. The use of cautions these days is as much a warning to the others as it is for the players on the receiving end. Persistent fouling is the stuff of a second yellow and the guy fitted the bill down to his boot studs. I'm pretty certain that Ferny would not have been granted such leeway.

Not a chance of that.

They need to worry about us not the other way around.

If Aguero is suspended it will be Sterling/Nasri/De Bruyne up top. My guess:

Sterling
Nolito De Bruyne Silva Navas

But hopefully the FA and andre marriner do the right thing

The 'in the flow of the game' doesn't matter. It's about intent or perceived intent. If they believe there was intent, he's in trouble.
Now, if they think it's an arm gesture having just had his arm held - i.e. a 'get off my arm' type gesture, he might just about be ok. If they think it's anything more, he'll get a ban.

I think he's put his arm back to stop Reid coming in close, but it's dangerous to do that, and it does look intentional from some angles. From other angles it looks a lot less intentional, and Reid without doubt feigns where any contact occurred. I think it's a 50/50 call IF the ref didn't see it.

I suspect the ref has seen it and made a split second call that the two were tussling and it was argy bargy (pardon the pun) from both players.
