Definitely lost a yard but still has the hunger to score goals , an indispensable player who we shouldnt even consider selling , never gives an ounce of trouble and gives 100% , he may not be happy when not picked or substituted , because he wants to play every game and every minute , he's got a brilliant attitude to our club and the team ethic .

I didn't see much of the team ethic (particularly in the second half) as I thought he was overly selfish at times when he had opportunities to pass but decided to try and take on the whole back line himself

I thought tonight was his best game, effort-wise, for a while.

It goes to show how we all see things differently.

Personally I think he's really struggling in everything he does and I love the bloke and have never said anything untoward about him.

However, I think he's done - everything he does looks laboured, he looks bereft of confidence and I think he will move on this summer.

I want to be so fucking wrong and he goes on to score another 50 fucking goals between now and the end of the following season.

He's been a great player - he'll live long in all the memory of every City fan.

As much as I love Pep and his philosophy I have the feeling he could do better regarding Sergio,
who seems to be the player in the squad who needs most support and appreciation to be confident and perform strongly.

I think the lad could still be on fire if he would feel good. So we are wasting a lot of potential right now here.
I don't know what is going on but I have the feeling Pep could be a better mental coach in this case.
Only my thoughts of course.

But I also did have the feeling the team was playing for Sergio to score and this has to go on in the future.
Get him in the best positions to score and he will do better.
In the end only goals will make him feel good.
