If pep had subbed him at half time , i wouldnt of been surprised he was ineffectual but he is a natural goal poacher and took his goals brilliantly , he lives for goals and his influence on the game after his goals increased ten-fold , not the player he was a couple of years ago , but still sheer class.

That should give him back his confidence in front of goal just in time for Liverpool.

or pens appaterntly when it comes to sergio's record scoring stats

Scoring penalties doesn't make you an effective striker. If we just wanted someone to slot home penalties and do nothing else, we could just play Yaya up front.

Your complete inability to hear anything said about Aguero really is quite pathetic, constantly sniping in the match thread at anyone who dare complain about a mistake or point out he wasn't playing well. Are you a City fan or just an Aguero fan?

It is possible to love the player and still comment and discuss why he isn't playing brilliantly when he isn't.

Touré and Milner both have brilliant penalty records. Should they be considered up there with the greatest strikers in the world?

Aguero is a great player. He's not God. We should be allowed to freely discuss Aguero's performances without you jumping on our backs every time something negative is said, this is a forum after all. I respect you defending him but you take it too far and honestly it's tiring.

neither jimmy or yaya are strikers and sergio is a world class striker
listen lads click on my name and press ignore if you don't like it,if you can't stand someone backing our record goal scorer,i don't give a single shit

FOR THE Record, I don’t think he’s leaving.

Apparently all Aguero says is ‘I’m happy here it’s down to the club what they do’ but then on the other side you have Pep gleaming with pride that he has a player like Sergio. A lot being made out of nothing (frustration at being subbed etc)

I suspect both positions are genuine.

The issue I see is that Pep will not automatically select Aguero for every game and it will be up to him to decide whether he would remain happy sitting on the bench more often than he is probably accustomed to
