Sergio Aguero - 2017/18 performances

Scored a great goal and took up some great positions.
The problem is Messi. Everything has to go through him and he consistently fails to bring Kun ( and others) into play.
That's great when he wins a game single handed but more often than not it has an adverse effect on the overall team performance,like yesterday.

Noticeable that the goal came from a move in which Messi played no part - mind you also came from a shocking attempt at goal by Rocha that Aguero turned into a great pass. But the rest of the time Argentina just tried to get the ball to Messi and all Iceland had to do was squeeze the middle. Ageuro was the one trying to find different space - but the system meant it wasn't coming to him. But great to see him show at a World Cup what a dangerous striker he is - because at previous tournaments he has been peripheral.
 
Dunno how to post a tweet but Jose haya tweeted Aguero will not play next game as punishment for the other day . If true that manager just like failure haha
