Sergio Aguero announces his retirement | A thread to pay tribute

Could we hire him as like a finishing trainer?

Similar to how we have coaching trainers.

city will find a job for him on the coaching side if he wants one. plus he could do his coaching badges as well
but i don't think he wanted to go down them routes ? but now maybe a change of mind and his love of football and city we will find him a place

His heart is in Argentina where it's always been. So before he goes home for good I hope MCFC will start making plans now to have him and as many as possible of the 2012 team back in Manchester for the tenth anniversary next May, either at the Newcastle game on the 7th or Villa at the end of the season.
That is a brilliant idea - even if he's gone home to Argentina I'm certain he'd return.
Maybe there should be a joint testimonial for the players who've missed out due to covid??

I’d be surprised if he went into coaching. He hated training!

Our biggest ever legend for me, bled blue, scored the most important goal in our history, hated United! Stayed loyal throughout his 10 years when i'm sure there were plenty of opportunities to go to Barca or Real.

An absolute City icon. Love him so much so sad to see his early retirement but wish him all the happiness and good health in the world. A pleasure and a privilege to have you at our club Sergio!!

He doesnt strike me as the manager type , he will be a pundit though i reckon
Wouldn’t surprise me if he went into gaming or E-sports.

He hates the cameras and interviews, I can’t see him as a pundit.

He might become a party animal and blow up like Maradona!
