Sergio Aguero announces his retirement | A thread to pay tribute

When ppl ask who my favorite ever City player is, Sergio's name is always one of the firsts to come to my mind. For me, no other footballing moment can top that goal.

Truly gonna miss him not playing football, but he had a wonderful career and I'm glad he is doing the right thing for his health. He has left his incredible mark in the country, and I hope he has a healthy and joyful life post-retirement. Hopefully we get to see him back at Manchester sometime, even if it's on the club's YT channel.

A true and proper legend, both for club and the PL.

He did that and much more... Truly the word legend gets used far too often these days but he was a true one not just for us but in world football too, that iconic moment against Q.P.R. will forever be remembered throughout football history, there was many more memories I'm totally gutted for him like I was gutted when we had to part ways in the summer.

He really loved his time here his tears for the UCL final said more than words ever could asmuch as you could see his pain today, he stayed here and built a legacy when he could've easily turned round to his agent and said I wanna join Real Madrid or Barcelona, he joined the latter but even then we all know he would've rather stayed, was a privilege of the highest order to watch him I'll never forget seeing that 93:20 moment live in the flesh... You made our dreams come true and for that we'll never ever forget you and everything you've done for us
