A sad, sad day. Lump in my throat. That really is it, isn't it? Zab, Yaya, Merlin, Vin, now the man who gave us and the world the single most incredible moment in Premier League history. It isn't the changing of the guard. The change has been completed.

He’s not. An awful time would be his career ended by a bad injury or going out with a whimper playing for a shit team

He’ll leave as a champion and you just never know may leave holding the CL trophy above his head

Even if we don’t win the Champions League, his last game will either be lifting the Premier League trophy or an FA Cup Final (if we were to beat Chelsea). Not a bad way to go out no matter the outcomes.
