If we couldn’t get JFE over the line not sure we have much chance with Ings. Bidding war, image rights, high wages. Signing players of this calibre can drag on for months.

If Sergio is leaving then I think that we should go all out to sign Phil Jones. We could then still sing the "this is how it feels to be City" song, but change the lyrics slightly to "we signed Phil Jones, you signed Kun Aguero".
