We should just ask for £35m and be done with Tevez for good. Then spend £40m give or take £5m on Kun, net spend of £0-10m! I know many will feel ripped off but I can't see many spending massive amounts on Carlos due to his baggage and the fact he wants to leave. Plus Kun is the perfect replacement and is 4 years younger that Carlos, he may develop into an even better player than Tevez, he certainly has the potential. I think the outlay would be worth it in the end.

If its true that Juve have had 30million euros accepted then theres no need to spend £40m.

I personally don't think Athletico would accept that much, but if they did then happy days! We may even make a profit out of the situation. Just bid slightly higher, or the same as Juve, surely we must be a more attractive proposition for Kun that Juve?

^ We don't know that. They've been after him for a while now and can offer him very good wages.

He may also like the city, etc.

So many little factors in a player's decision so no one can ever know for sure.

Remember when Silva said one of the major deciding factors in joining us was because were determined and showed the most interest for the longest. (something along the lines of that)

What pisses me off the most is that Tevez probably knows that noone will offer us enough money and he probably hoping that we will just let him go to Argentina for peanuts. I really hope City do not give in.

If he wants to go desperately then he can put money towards his sale out of his own pocket.

Tevez does not want to go to Argentina. He just wants to leave Manchester. Granted considering his claim, he'd prolly leave ENgland all together. But he is angling for Italy or Spain.
