What pisses me off the most is that Tevez probably knows that noone will offer us enough money and he probably hoping that we will just let him go to Argentina for peanuts. I really hope City do not give in.

If he wants to go desperately then he can put money towards his sale out of his own pocket.
Tevez does not want to go to Argentina. He just wants to leave Manchester. Granted considering his claim, he'd prolly leave ENgland all together. But he is angling for Italy or Spain.

I still don't see how that would bring him CLOSER to his family.... unless of course he is full of shit and it is just an excuse for Kia to get money off a transfer again....

He wants to move his family over to be with him but his wife won't move to england as she finds it hard to adapt to the culture.

Does it matter? Fact is he has wanted to go since last summer and was bribed to stay - this was always going to happen. He is a disruptive influence and we need to move on quickly and get rid. Swap him for Sneijder or Ozil or sell for 35m and bring in Modric. Tevez will soon be forgotten.

I feel weird.. but I agree. I know his goals will be hard to replace, but I think we can. We need to get past the point where one player, controls our club image.

I got shot down for this before but I think we looked better as a team without Tevez towards the end of last season, beat the Scum in the FA Cup Semi Final too without him, convincingly.

For me it is not the end of the world that Tevez wants to go, in a way I am glad because I am sick to death of the drama and baggage that comes with him.

Hopefully we will be able to replace him adequately though.

City need to stick to their guns and demand what fee they see is right and proper for Tevez, last thing we need is to be seen to be mugged off by a perceived " bigger club" (in the eyes of the media) and sell him on the cheap. And if no-one matches the fee then he is told in no uncertain terms he is expected to honour his contract. City hold all the cards, he is contracted for 3 more years, and if a club comes in that is willing to pay the asking price, then good luck Carlos and thanks for 2 wonderful years in which you inspired the team to bigger and better things. Personally, I can only see Madrid as his only option, can't see Barca going for him unless they were willing to lose Villa or Iniesta.

I am thinking just sell tevez for 35 million and be done with it. He's just fucking up our pre season and plans and drawing unwanted attention. Flog him to real or inter for 35 million.

Meet agueros buy out of 42 million euros. Sign nasri and mata for circa 40 million.

If we can sell

Ade - 10 million
Boateng - 12 million
Nedum 6 million
Swp - 3 million
Caicedo - 1 million
Bellamy - 2 million
Rsc - free but big wage savings
Bridge - as above
Jo - as above

Add in big wages saved with viera and tevez going and ffp wise we would still be in much better shapenthan last season but with a significantly stronger squad :

Squad a

Given

Zabs
Kompany
Lescott
Nasri

Silva
Dejong
Yaya
Mata

Nasri
Aguero

Squad b

Given

Richards
Savic
K toure
Koralov

Aj
Barry
Milner
Weiss

Dzeko
Mario
