Juventus seem to have put another bid (40 million) in. Seriously we need to rescue him from ending up in that club.

absolutely. I'd have to think any player we are remotely interested in, the selling team would let us know of a bid to see if we'd offer that selling team more for him.
the 45 million release clause is only valid in Spain not for international offersparkerblue said:Andouble said:LoveCity said:I imagine we'd be alerted if anyone else bid for Aguero.

If both clubs meet his £40M release clause wouldn't it mean that a higher bid wouldn't matter anyway? They would have to accept both bids and then it would just be up to the player to decide his destination.
From what i can gather Athletico will be holding out for the release fee in any case. Wouldn't outbidding another team at that stage be pointless?
Not true, he has a unique clause that applies to every possible transfer. It applies everywhere.zeven said:the 45 million release clause is only valid in Spain not for international offersparkerblue said:Andouble said:absolutely.
