Sergio Aguero

If the Sanchez deal is dead or soon to be dead, Aguero could and would be very capable of playing the right side of a midfield 3. Then when Tevez leaves whenever that is Aguero can be moved further forward. Seems like a good solution to 2 problems we have and also puts further pressure on the existing forwards to perform.

Tevez looks increasingly likely to stay which will surely kills any link to Aguero.

City will sign, or try and sign 2-3 players and I don't think one will be a striker. Although I hope City are looking at Balotelli's knee and not waiting for him to come back ad breakdown in pre-season training.

If I'm honest I would love aguero at city. It would make tevez attitude much less of an issue.

It would be amazing if we signed aguero, hulk and mata but I doubt it will happen.

As has been pointed out before could we go with tevez, dezko, aguero and Mario ?

I just can't see Mario and dzeko being happy on the bench or missing whole games altogether.

Wont have much change out of £80 million

Aguero would be top of my list (& that's coming from someone who wouldn't have touched him with a ten foot pole 18 months ago) but if we are to sign him, we've certainly done a fair job keeping quiet about it.

I will be shocked if we go for him.

Marcotti says he's agreed terms with Juve.

Just like how people dismiss players signing with Liverpool - or signing with us the past few years - Europe isn't be all end all.

He'd go to Juventus if they could show they were investing big (i.e. he was just the marquee signing of a wider rebuilding) to get back to the top.

If Juve could win the scudetto (seems a long way off when you look at the comparative quality of the Milan sides right now, admittedly) then the key players of that side would be instant legends I'd imagine.
