Any updates on Aguero, been stuck in Sanchez thread for a month, and just moved over to Nasri. Is he still going Juventus?

Along side Tevez.

Then have a midfield of Yaya, De Jong, Nasri and Silva.

and Balo and Dzeko are where? Four strikers of that quality will cause real problems. They all will expect playing time. Better to grab Lukaku who has stated he is willing to play as a sub at a big club for a year or two. Then in two years when Carlos finally fucks off we still have the best strike force in the league.

Imagine we change one or two players & the players we bring in, rather than being Jo, Ade, SWP etc are actually Aguero etc. Then, rather than them only playing one game in ten, they can play two games out of three, so everyone ius fresh & we don't lose 3-0 at Anfield or in places like Kiev or last min goals v rags at OT, etc etc, & we don't have to play Tevez when he's carrying an injury so he ends up missing for a month at the most crucial time.

I understand squad rotation. But when you play with 1 striker having 4 top drawer strikers leads to problems.

Worked out great for Berbatov didn't it?

Depends if the striker can play in the inside forward position like Balo.

I agree the likes of Dzeko, Drogba, Berbatov would look lost not playing in a traditional no. 10 role but players like Tevez, Aguero, Balo etc can be rotated a lot more often as they can play AML and AMR as well as CF.

Gives a lot more options for squad rotation especially as we only have one recognised winger in AJ (plus maybe Nasri soon?). I can't see us having more than 2 traditional wingers ever, I'm pretty sure Mancini likes his advanced wingers to be also strikers and just wants a couple of wingers to use as a Plan B sometimes.

Absolutely right & I really don't understand why Aguero wasn't our No 1 target as imo he would suit all of Mancini's systems either playing alongside or as a rotation for 3 or 4 different players.

Good post mate, although I still can't see where the crosses are coming for Dzeko.
