Sergio Aguero

"Injured" or just waiting to deadline day to make his move to Real Madrid as the Express have declared?

great. and tevez looking a stone over weight too....the club do know the season starts in august and not october right ?

How is either the club's fault?

Not their fault? really?

The club should put together a training/fitness plan that ensures all the players are in tip top condition for the first game of the season, whether this is achieved by insisting players maintain a daily regime in the close season or by having them report back earlier, I don't know or care. We saw last campaign how tired our players were by xmas, and witnessed the ensuing listless performances in Europe .....surely player conditioning is an area that needs improvement particularly for a club like ours with aspirations on silverware. How is it that utd looked a yard faster and in better physical condition ? thats the question I would ask my coaching staff if I were Khaldoon or Cook.

Give the bloke a chance, he played all last season and during the close season in a proper tournament, not against some Airtricity XI, it was an international tournament, all those that played in the Copa America were always going to be a couple of weeks behind those who put their feet up this summer

and there is the problem.

Professional sportsmen...at least those that want to win don't do this.

I've got no problem with him taking time off with his family, but please don't turn up for work overweight and unfit.

For starters, you don't know for a fact that Tevez is a stone overweight, he looks same to me. Also on Aguero, what do you suggest the club does to guarantee 100% that players don't ever get blisters?

It's piss fucking poor if true this, I mean how many other players have blisters?
Whatever anyway, without Aguero Swansea should still be a walkover. No point in playing him until he's fit, especially if the blisters are whats kept him out because they will just get worse. As I say though it's fucking piss poor.

He will play some part in the game , but I don't think he isn't being played because of his fitness , I think it is down to the fact that Mancini doesn't regard him to be on the top of his game at the moment.

Dont you just love our club!

If true......well, all you can say is "typical City".

No, I don't know that and was exaggerating, the point being I think he looks like he's put some weight on, coupled with not having a pre-season, unlikely to be match fit. On Aguero I've heard different things, firstly that he had stomach flu and then he had blisters, agreed not much the club can do if true but then doesn't it become more important Tevez is fit and ready to play ?

I guess we will see on Monday.
