I'm led to believe that Sergios missus has moved back to Spain , and taken his kid with her .... if that's the case then then MUST hurt Sergio , just as it was doing Tevez when he faced similar circumstances.

This could all in tears ..

She is in Argentina.

Not according to todays MEN she isn't ... she's in Madrid !

Just seen that there is a link on his twatter account to an interview he has done, hopefully I've pasted it all below:

Kun - in depth
Sergio had an interview with Argentinian sports magazine Ole. Several topics were covered - his wishes for 2013: "get another title for City, that Independiente stays in first division, and qualify for the World Cup. Personally, that my family and my son stay well."

These are some excerpts from the interview between Sergio and sports journalists Jorge Lopez and Bruno Sturari:

- Can Man City win the championship again?

- We are in good shape. We are not playing like we did last year, but we are winning games. And the last two matches, City was superb. We have the team to accomplish feats like last year´s. Keep in mind that this season, a lot of our key players were injured: Nasri, Silva, Kompany, Clichy, Micah Richards, my own knee… it´s not an excuse, but it does influence our game.

- Zabaleta has scored more goals than Messi! To January 4th, 2013, at least...

- At least until this weekend -- Zaba has scored more than Leo, heh. Pablo´s game is impressive lately! He´d always say: "Kun, I´ll score just one goal each tourney". I´d always answer: "Don´t worry about it, you´ll rack them up this year." Zaba is in great condition, very in the zone. He´s one of the best, the most consistent, and he always get a B+ or higher on his scorecard after each match, right?

- Six months have gone by after your historic championship-winning goal for Man City. Has the magnitude of your feat sunk in yet?

- Not too much at the beginning, but now I think so. Months went by and I realized that was a very significant goal. People remind me about it on the street all the time. But I didn´t understand it right away, I was in a world away. It´s very emotional to enter the Etihad and see the blown-up images of each sequence of that goal… that FIFA chose it as one of the best 12 goals of the year - it feels amazing.

- Hows your relationship with City´s fans?

- Incredible. Since the narrator had shouted "Agüerooooo" when I scored, plenty fans come show me their shirts with "Agüerooo" stamped across the back, heh. I´m contented, I see posters, signs with the goal, and it makes me very happy.

- But was it a failure to be eliminated from the Champions?

- It was painful because we had high hopes. But it was a very intense group. The champions from Spain, Netherlands and Germany, no less. And at that level you can either win or lose. Its no use thinking that we could have started the game ahead at Bernabeu and everything would have gone down differently afterwards. But this is the way football is, and everything adds up to the experience. The Champions League is a pending assignment for us and Im sure that the future holds better things.

- Was the team up to the expectations?

- I think everyone has the right to their own opinion. This is football and it´ll always be this way. It´s fine if people expect more from us. But what I do think is that sometimes the real achievements of the team are not appreciated. We are Premier League champions and we won that title fair and square. We won that title because we never gave up even when United held a lead that some called unsurmountable - eight whole points. We were the best all throughout the tournament. Some people say this team was built up at the cost of a lot of money, as if that took away our merit. Like the other teams hadn´t spent a similar amounts. The summer trade season should be enough proof - to my knowledge, one of the few teams that keeps most of its players from their own rookery is Barcelona. The rest doesn´t. The record should be set straight.

- Whats your balance of 2012?

- Football-wise, it was a very good year. Both at City as in the national squad. It was important for me to consolidate myself within City´s team and the title made it all much more intense. It´s even more valuable because it was my first year in the Premier League. And that last-minute goal to top it off -- it´s more than I ever imagined. What more could I ask for?

- What are your three wishes for 2013?

Get Man City another title, that Independiente FC stays in the Argentinian Premier division, and qualify for the World Cup. My personal and more important wish is that my family and my son stay well and healthy

- Do you dream about winning the Balon d´Or?

- I know many footballers have been tagged as favorites, I know it´s a longshot, but if I do my job well, I hope I can win it someday. Being the best player in the world is something everyone dreams about. My dreams are always winning the World Cup, the Champions League… And being the best player of the world and taking the Balon d´Or, of course, it would make any player extremely happy.

- Is Sabella´s national squad going through its most significant growth spurt?

- It was a good year. What changed was that Alejandro set up and maintained a team that he really trusts on. It makes us confident. There weren´t a lot of changes and that helped. And the results started improving. We ended the year in impeccable fashion. We haven´t qualified for the World Cup yet and we are aware of it. We need to stay on track.

- We´ve talked about City, about the national squad… what about your personal life?

- The last few months I´ve been trying to adapt the last few months to this new stage after my separation. It wasn´t easy because I had some very intense and emotional years living together with Gianni. We grew as people during that time and as a result of our love, we had Ben - our blessing. And that´s what´s the hardest for me. Because Ben is in Buenos Aires and I need to stay in Manchester.

- And does that influence the rest of your life?

- I try not to let it do so. You try to be as professional as possible. I don´t think it affects my performance, if that´s what you mean. But being far away from your kid isn´t easy. It´s impossible not to miss Ben.

- Anything else you want to add regarding the topic?

- I dont think so. I think it´s a private matter and I´d rather keep it that way. Out of respect towards her and our shared experiences, it should be that way.
