I think we have seen the best of Tevez. He's a fadng star.

Some players can go on into their 30's but Tevez is all about buzz and pace and that's what goes first.

he's 28! i'm talking short term in aguero's absence

it appears to me we only see the best of all 4 of our strikers when they think they're the main man

tevez hasn't been the same player since sergio arrived, and munich was the eruption of that

we saw what balo did in the euro's when they gave him more responsibility

these guys all expect to be the best and all i'm saying is if sergio's absence is longer term, and tevez gets more responsibilty, i think we'll see the best of him

Tevez will adapt his game to compensate for his reduced pace. When he returned at the end of last season he was clearly half fit and responded by playing a bit deeper and passing rather than running. He has the ability to play as a 10.

That still leaves a big question mark over how we cope now with what looks like being a prolonged absence by Aguero. Tevez dosnt look to have that sharpness of two years ago when he played as a lone striker.

I've thought for some time that Tevez has lost half a yard.

He's still very good, but he's not as good as he was

Not clear if Aguero has totally ruptured his hamstring or just torn some fibres.

If he's torn his hamstring as we understand it there'd be blood, bruising and the club would know almost straight away. I doubt it's a total tear. That would be very serious

Timing couldn't be worse as he was just coming into form.

We just need to get through the Arsenal game. A point will be OK, and then we'll have key players returning. Mario as a lone striker in front of a 5 man midfield?
