What would you have said if we'd bought Cucerella last summer for £15mill from Getafe ? Would that have been bad.

We are likely cutting the middle-man out and taking a punt on a talented player directly before he goes to another Prem team and maybe cost us 50 million. We are in a position where we can afford to try this from time to time.

No, we are the best team in the world. Leave it to the people who do understand what we are doing and stop whining.

We took Alvarez from the Argentinian league and Gabby from Brazil.

Dias and Eddie from the Portuguese league.

Zinchenko from the Russian league.

People knew Haaland was going to be a top player from his time in the Austrian league.

Van Dijk became a top PL player after playing in the Scottish league.

Not every good player has to come from one of the big 5 leagues.
 
Don't rate him personally. Saw him alot under Kompany and he looked defensively suspect like Grimaldo.

Won't make it in the Prem. Another Angelino signing. Cucurella or Sosa - or nobody for me.

Could improve because he's only 21, but we need someone for right now, not in 3 years.
