It's a bit of a gamble but Ramos could be a good short-term deal for City. He is certainly a leader on and off the field. The only issue I have is that this move doesn't tackle our biggest problem which is lack of pace in the defensive midfield area. We need an aggressive speed merchant in that area more than anything else.

We don’t really need him tbh and with his wages being through the roof the money could be spent elsewhere on the squad . It’s a no from me

Thats a different problem though,Ramos would be a Laporte replacement.

I agree,we still need to find that midfield general.

You could be right. It's a risky move. I would prefer to keep a fully-motivated Laporte on board. That said Ramos could go to another PL club and be brilliant.
