Serial Killer at large in Manchester?

Bodies keep turning up. You assume because no serial killer warnings are being publicised (BM doesn't count) that there are no suspicious circumstances linking them together post autopsy.

But, I remember attending a lecture once about forensic science and head injury and the American man speaking said that a truly random serial killer would be very difficult if not impossible to detect.

I notice quite a few on the list going to the C&A yesterday haven't posted today.

Coincidence?

I hope so.

Police have announced that another body has been found in a river in Gtr Manchester
This however is not a serial killer at work it is a tragedy that happened way back in January.
The body found yesterday in the river Mersey near the Waterside Hotel Cheadle is that of Neil Marsom who went missing in the river Goyt at Bredbury on 3rd January

Either the police are thick as fuck or they are going about this quietly to not to panic the public! Also why hasn't any reporter done a piece on all these deaths through falling into the canals? How many is that now over the last 6 months 4, 5 or 6?

I know the link has already been put in this thread, but it's worth a look. How easy would it be for a serial killer to just target drunk males (or females for that matter) on their way home from a night out on town and stumbling down a street/alley/canal path? If someone were to have a thrist for killing youngish males, why wouldn't you target an easy one? Especially if after all this time the police are just going to rule accidental drowning and sweep it under the carpet.

And in the case of the "smiley face murders" the kids that "drowned" actually had to go out of their ways to get to the river, climbing down stairs, paths, and over loose rocks. The fact that the FBI figure at any one time there are 50 unknown serial killers working in the United States; it would beg to reason that there are a handful working in England as well. I know in Chicago alone they figure there are three-five working on the south side alone. Scary stuff when you think about it.

Someone at work has just said that the police have sealed off an area near the PC World store at the bottom of Ashton Old Road close to where it meets the Mancunian Way. Another body fished out of a canal perhaps?
