Serial Killer at large in Manchester?

Someone at work has just said that the police have sealed off an area near the PC World store at the bottom of Ashton Old Road close to where it meets the Mancunian Way. Another body fished out of a canal perhaps?

That area use to be a red light and gay cruising area, which attracted a lot of criminals looking for easy targets. It will be interesting to see if these two lads were pushed or it was an accident.

In this particular incident it would indicate that one of the friends fell in and the other tried to save him rather than any foul play.

FFS and to think me and my mate use to strip and swim in the lock there after coming out of 5th ave pissed out of or heads

i live 2mins from both ashton and rochdale canals and the things that gets me is that there is nothing not 1 life safety ring or anything for miles and miles to help if you fall in some of the locks are 30 odd feet deep

the british water ways need to look hard at safety around there canals and maybe put up safety rings at points ware people can help if somebody falls in

In this particular incident it would indicate that one of the friends fell in and the other tried to save him rather than any foul play.

You'll probably find they do put the rubber rings up but they get pinched / thrown in
