Re: serial killer in Manchester - at last someone agrees
No, I don't watch it, but over the years the police have been caught with their pants down, so to speak, on numerous occasions.
I think it's ingenious they should laugh the suggestion off.
Maybe they are correct in their assessment, but what if they are wrong?
I think the claims, at the very least, deserve an investigation, because, as I have said, a disproportionate number of bodies have been fished out of Manchester's canals over the last few years.
To me, it's just a common sense approach, and it has nothing to do with a TV programme I have never watched.

The police dismissed it of course, saying there were no obvious connections between the drownings, but if you were an intelligent killer, knowing the police look for 'connections', then surely you would change the way you operate?
I'm no criminal expert, far from it, but I find it slightly disturbing the police are not looking into at least the possibility of a mass murderer at work.
We do, after all, have an incredible number of dead bodies being found in our local canals, and far more than common sense would consider normal.
And by denying him the recognition he wants, GMP may encourage him to do something that goes beyond his usual boundaries and give them a bit more to work with?
Don't you watch Criminal Minds FFS ;-)
