Serie A table (top 8):

As Roma 21 pts
Napoli 19 pts
Juventus 19 pts
Inter 14 pts
Hellas Verona 13 pts
Fiorentina 12 pts
Lazio 11 pts
Udinese 10 pts
...
...
...
Milan 8pts

Milan won't play CL 2014/2015. Roma, Napoli and Juve are too strong or too far.

It does look like that way at the moment.

How many players do you think Milan are off being contenders?? Milan seem to be favouring a 4312 formation am I right?

Balotelli and El Shaarawy is good a sit gets in terms of a youthful strike force for the future, and with Montolivo behind them two you look good in attack.

What's missing and who would you replace?

The best 11 is not that bad, and we will recover and fight for an Europa league spot as soon as El Shaarawy, De Sciglio and Kaka recover from the injury.
To be contenders we need a good CB who can play the ball to replace Zapata, and we need new staff: someone who know how to train a football team to be fit at the start of the season and avoid injury.

What about Prandelli? He is stepping down from the national team after the World Cup isn't he?

He works well with Mario as well!

That means still a whole season for Allegri. They need to rebuild the defence, Zapata isn't that good for ac Milan standards, Mexes has bad attitude (we saw it yesterday) and usually makes important mistakes, Bonera, etc, aren't what ac Milan need for a CL campaign and to can get in the first 3 spots in Serie A.
