Not sure he would want to go home if he would be a starting striker here, but being 4th choice and the way Mancini was handling him over the time he was here (love him, hate him, etc. makiing fun of him front of the press) gave too much chance to Balo to make sure that performing well on the pitch is not the most important thing for him.
At Milan it is different for him, well yeah he is home, its a big plus, but he is their top striker with lot of responsibility on him.
Here he was 4th choice, pushed to wings, subbed off many times, no discipline.
Allegri knows how to handle him as a player, as a young guy and as someone you rely on the pitch.
Mancini failed with every aspect of it unfortunately.
And for that reason it was a good thing to sell him as he was going nowhere in City. If he would be here, he wouldnt ever have this kind of scoring form, and Mancini still wouldlike to get Falcao and Cavani.
Getting the best oput of your polayers is something Mancini has to improve fast, because we have half of the squad who never played to their true abilities and elsewhere they sgowed they can do it...
(Many typical Mancini signings, Kolarov, Dzeko, Balo, also Nasri etc.)
