Serie A Thread - 2023/24

They huffed and puffed at the end but no dice for Empoli. Inter have won all 5 games now. Scored the most goals so far and conceded the least.

Unlike Empoli, who have conceded the most and still haven’t even scored one. Mind, that’s probably an acceptable margin of defeat after what happened in Rome, but they’ll need to start taking points from the next 6 games or they’re for Serie B.

Love the attitude of Osimhen from Napoli a minute ago.

A Napoli player was rolling about like he’d stood on a landmine and a Napoli defender was going to kick the ball out of play so he could get treatment.

Osimhen ran over to the player on the deck, waved his hands at the player who was going to kick it out to say ‘don’t fucking kick it out’ and he grabbed his teammate up off the floor and told him to get on with it because it was 0-0 and they’ve got a game to win.

Yes saw that, made me laugh too. Glad he missed the penalty though as I thought it was harsh.
