Serie A Thread - 2023/24

Before their loss, thought Inter were the team to beat. Milan have stayed within touching distance but still haven’t convinced me they’re ready to mount a challenge. However, the league is a marathon and not a sprint.
Yes I agree, Inter still look the better team. As you say a long way to go yet.

2-0 within the first 12 mins now. Taty, the replacement coming in for Immobile scores a goal. Really good counter attack.

Bullet header from a corner gives Atalanta 1 back. For 20 mins, Lazio were playing like a team possessed but that died down. Atalanta have now settled somewhat, not being cut open like dead corpse on a morgue table.

Lazio 2-1 Atalanta.

Game ended 3-2 to Lazio. The winning goal on 83 mins was some finish. Exquisite stuff.

Frosinone also went back to winning ways in their game against Verona finishing after a 100 mins. Game ended 2-1. Was a hectic ending for them as there was even a handball check at the end for a possible penalty to Verona.

Roma have scored ten goals in the last three games.

Palermo up to second now in Serie B. They were there fleetingly after the first game last season, but now they look to be consolidating and becoming serious contenders for promotion.Just need Troyes to get their CFG finger out.

Troyes were decent last season but really need to get their finger out, and also, what a goal by Fiorentina.

He’s not offside if he’s behind the ball. Goal should stand.

Edit. Oshimen was onside, but the other fella wasn’t from the ricochet. Offside.
