Serious question relating to us and FFP(update P17)

Why don`t we just build a 80k stadium, fill it every week and generate enough money to not worry about FFP? Or am i missing something?

Why don't we just fuck it all off and spend what we want, we get criticised enough as it is now for doing fuck all so we might as well give them all something to whinge about. Honestly can't see any major sponsor of the Champions League kicking a team out with some of the best players around in it. Can't see it standing up in court either. I'm sick to fucking death of everyone shitting it and making new rules since City were invested in. It's been fine and dandy for the same old same old clubs to keep it all to themselves for years now and I wish we'd tell them all to fuck off.

Honestly what do you really think would happen to Manchester City Football Club one of the leagues oldest traditional great clubs with a fantastic football ground and academy on the way. What would really happen to us if we decided to take this on.

it took utd 100 years to win 7 titles, since the inception of sky and them taking the lions share of the tv money, they have added a dozen in 20 years, co-incidence or not.

the whole thing stinks, has nothing to do with fair play and will only be a bad thing for all but the usual suspects.

modern football is becoming a big turn off.

Would love it too mate. We as fans have a right to be majorly pissed off about it. FFPR should never be used in a serious way on here. Corrupt as fuck the world we live in.

I wish someone from our club (ideally with support from other clubs) would come out and publicly express the disgrace that FFP is (in it's current proposed form) and how it is just a tactic to keep the usual suspects in power.

EUFA/FIFA are seriously corrupt and someone needs to come out and say it for the rest of us.

For the record: I'd love to see someone from our club come out and tell them all to fuck off, but not sure it'd do us any good.

So basically, I think you're trying to say that you'd like someone from the club to come out and say something about it.

I don't know. I'm not in the least bit clued up legally. But ranged against us are the forces of the traditional elite clubs, and MCFC now owned by "Arabs" would not get a sympathetic hearing in the national press. We are not going to challenge it. Utd and UEFA have stitched us up. It's not game set and match, but if we change manager, its got to be a Moyes like manager who can take City back by increments. We're not going to spend another £100 m and put us back in play in one season head to head with Utd. We'll do well to keep Arsenal back and qualify for the Champions League next season - assuming we make it this season

The "era" of titles is over before it barely started, and the "Mancini-out" camp don't realise that. I think it's beyond Mancini now to stabilise the team, if he can do it for another season running he really does deserve to keep his job. I fear the disappointment and lack of morale and motivation will destroy the season and his tenure

I wish that was the case but the so called established elite have taken their ball home and we have got to be a lot smarter to stay one step ahead of them and spending what we want isn't the answer at this present time.
