Serious question relating to us and FFP(update P17)

It's been fine and dandy for the same old same old clubs to keep it all to themselves for years now and I wish we'd tell them all to fuck off.

I wish someone from our club (ideally with support from other clubs) would come out and publicly express the disgrace that FFP is (in it's current proposed form) and how it is just a tactic to keep the usual suspects in power.

EUFA/FIFA are seriously corrupt and someone needs to come out and say it for the rest of us.

For the record: I'd love to see someone from our club come out and tell them all to fuck off, but not sure it'd do us any good.

Exactly my thoughts. UEFA are as corrupt as fuck, yes they'd kick off and make one big fucking 'ooh ahh' about what we're doing but ultimately I don't think they would take or could take any long term action against us barring a possible one year exclusion from the Champions League whilst the problem got sorted out one way or another, possibly somewhere in the corridors of power they either got a nice backhander or got told in no uncertain terms that by law they can't do fuck all. Everyone knows whats going on and i'm not advocating we should go and do it but I am asking the question what the fuck does everybody seriously think the worst could happen to us as one of the major clubs in world football. Imagine the publicity it would generate and I hardly think UEFA would want things out in the open as one open door leads to another. They like things quiet and cosy ticking along not out in the open for debate and I for one think that we'd come out if it far better off if it was ever to happen.

I agree,it does my head in that nobody from within City's corridors of power have come out and said what needs to be said. Those twats at UEFA have openly criticised City on numerous occasions without any come back at all.

Why don't we just fuck it all off and spend what we want, we get criticised enough as it is now for doing fuck all so we might as well give them all something to whinge about. Honestly can't see any major sponsor of the Champions League kicking a team out with some of the best players around in it. Can't see it standing up in court either. I'm sick to fucking death of everyone shitting it and making new rules since City were invested in. Would love it too mate. We as fans have a right to be majorly pissed off about it. FFPR should never be used in a serious way on here. Corrupt as fuck the world we live in.

Platini would come up with some other big idea, like gate receipts don't get included and the only way that FFP can be judged is by the number of shirt sales a club has worldwide. Or some other crazy plan to ensure his G14 stays intact and forever unchallenged.

Yet they see us as major enough to invent some new unopposed rule. They know our future potential hence why they've done this. I'm not having a go at United but just using them as an example but how can they be allowed to carry on spending whilst in debt yet City who don't owe a penny are penalised. It's plain corruption and bias against every other club outside of the cosy Champions League elect and they're ensuring nobody else will really ever have a chance to break into it and replace one of their cash cows. If we did spend big beyond their rules and we were sanctioned by uefa and gills Gang of Four I have wondered how it would sit with the general public or the sympathetic none rag type media, has anyone got any indication how this would pan out.

They voted for it in the first place, presumably because most Chairmen and owners did not want to provide the finance to compete with utd and Chelsea and City

They are just happy being in the Premiership and think if they can cut players wages they can make themselves profitable

Unfortunately City will probably have to raise ticket prices in the future. Don't forget, the Rags force their fans to buy tickets for 2 out of the 3 of the cup competitions, regardless.

Contrast our FA Cup ticket prices to Arsenal's. Another club who are a shining example of how to run a football club properly. :-?
