Seriously - 9/12 pts potential difference Us vs Rags??

Rome wasn't built in a day you tools.

It take years and years to install the winning mentality required for a title-winning team. We undoubtedly have a better squad than United but their manager and their team's ability to know how to win will put them around 8 points ahead of us by the end of the year. The good news is, we will only get better as we go on and they won't be able to continue to compete by spending so little in the future.

They've been speding $ky and Champions league money for decades

What the fuck do some of these pricks expect ffs

wasn,t trafford trotters 12 points behind newcastle a few years back, never ever give up, even if it is impossible? it is not over, they have the arse away chelsea away lpool away city at home newcastle away, their is going to be reckoning, it is either us or the arse who will pip them if anyone does?

altho weve done extremely well this season the fact that we have played a number of games more than the teams around us at this stage of the season has in a bit of a false position.

we still have to go to the swamp, stamford bridge anfailed, goodison and could conceivably lose ground on arsenal and the rags before mid-feb. that said i still think we should easily claim at least 4th, with spurs staying in the champions league after xmas that will be their main focus over the coming weeks once thats starts up again.

weve still made up a lot of ground considering 99% of the squad have either 6 or 18 months at city and in the premier league. and should be more than happy with how far we've come in the 13 months since mancini has been in charge.

Yes this may be a bit "knee jerk" but it's worth debating.

Looking at the table IF United win their two games in hand they will be NINE points clear of us & should they beat us that will make it TWELVE.

Seriously everyone is it good enough that considering that United have hardly made any further investment & can't splash out on players & comparing this to our mass expenditure & recruitment that we could find ourselves in that position?.
Surely we should be doing better than this?.

I sadly fear that we could end up 15 points adrift come May & we will be in the same situation as last season, competing with Spurs for 4th.
The team has to start showing more belief & desire in great abundance.
do me a fuckin favour.....we aren't going for the title mate and spending money doesn't mean instant success it's a building and integrating process so lower your expectations and be happy with CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUALIFICATION ffs and hopefully A FUCKIN TROPHY FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 35 YEARS!!!.............are some people never fuckin happy on this bastard website? if you've been through the shit times then us being in the position we are in the league at the moment is fuckin dream land, would you 5 years ago have imagined you'd be complaining on a website about about city finishing 15pts off the top of the league being a massive disappointment? think you need some perspective my friend and to give your head a huge wobble.

We should not settle for 4th spot. It's has got to be 3rd or higher for me. I think people are forgetting that if we get 4th we then have to play the qualifying games (like Spurs did). Automatic qualification is given to 1st 2nd and 3rd.
We will come second

Maybe 3rd, had we not just battered villa as we did Sunderland etc I'd be worried, as it is we've not deserved a defeat all season so we must be doing something right.
As you were city.

If West Ham win the rest of their matches, and we lose all of ours they'll finish 18 points ahead of us. With the money we've spent I can't believe this is happening to us.
