Seriously...what are we doing?

I know that most on here are long term City fans. I know that an awful lot on here were born post 1976 and the greatest thing that we have seen City do is win the First Division.

Today, we went away from home, and battered another team, putting us joint top of the league in December. Added to this, we have the best run coming up, a manager who has won trophies everywhere he has ever been, easily the most singularly talented squad in the Premiership, unlimited funds, a community service that was that good that we made it the front of the 2018 bid and an office team that is the envy of many, with communication to the fans seen as the most important thing.

In my lifetime, this is the greatest period in our history, and we are spending it sniping at each other on the forums. Just for once, for a change, can we not declare a truce and bask in the magnificence that is our club? This club belongs to all of us, and our hearts should be swimming at the moment.

Things are on the up boys and girls. Let's try to celebrate it

Well said. I've been reading this site for over a year without actually joining & it was one of the things that got on my tits, though some of the stuff people wrote made me laugh like fuck. As City fans we sometimes tend to be overly harsh but we must also be the fans with the best sense of humour. I suppose we have to be after all the crap we've had to put up with. CTID!

Agree with this, I think because of all the false dawns that we've been through, we can never really convince ourselves that it is real this time. That was a good trait for us in the past, but despite this we are all starting to believe now, and it's great to see. We can actually win this league you know. Seriously,

We might not do so, but we have the ability to. It feels mad just saying that.

Spot on. It does feel mad.

Good to hear the lads singing 'and now you're gonna believe us...we're gonna win the league'

and we might......we probably won't but wtf lets enjoy the possibility that we might again at long long last....

COME ON!!!!

Quite agree, Damocles, we were shit for so long that negativity seems to have become our default position. It's about time that changed, now is the time for positivity and optimism. let's smile in the face of our detractors not give them support.

I agree with you! But the problem is, is these rags on here pretending to be blues starting negative posts that starts the sniping and arguments.. I'm afraid we will never stop it! Unless we ban everyone who post negative and sniping posts!!!

spot on we have been so used to the typical city, and constantly shooting ourselves in the foot, but the majority of fans can now sense or even
taste success that we have been craving since the early 70's,in the past todays match would have been typical city but i would say typical city has been dragged kicking and screaming away and out of the door, roll on everton...
