Enjoyed that. Pep was tinkering and trying stuff out for sure. Great to see Lewis getting a chance and taking it. Alvarez goal was excellent. Weird thing with Kev - looks essential at the moment but when he's been gone for periods in the recent past we've more than coped. Who is his heir?

Grealish, Bernardo, Philips, Foden, suppose the one who wants it the most.

Turned out great in the end. Great to see the young lad from Radcliffe have a dream debut. Late goal to send the crowd home happy and that pass from The Prince. What's not to like?

Diaz for them in the U19s game looked like he had an interesting day.

Scored an own goal then got booked twice and sent off after 90 mins according to Flash Scores.

I watched the game while working from home. He was a nasty, snide grub. The Sevilla u19s got away with a lot of things in that game.

Once Rodri came on in the second half the game changed dramatically.
A very good second half performance.

I really, really, really miss actually being at the ground and cheering the lads on. I miss losing my voice the day after a match! The atmosphere, the cold, the rain. I want it back!
Partly because I think sometimes I’m losing my judgement of a match when I read the match day messages!!!
No disrespect to anyone on that thread, we all have our own opinions. :-)

Since I moved up here with the Yorkshire folk on a match day I find a good stream, use the Alister Mann commentary from the official site and have the match day thread on for those wtf moments and a bit of fun ;-)

A much better game than I was expecting. Decent tempo and competitiveness which helped take one's mind off the lashing rain and gales blowing through the Etihad. All in all I enjoyed seeing us coming from behind to win and seeing us score 3 good goals.
