Brilliant second half young Lewis what a player and his cracking goal got the team going again,but of a reach possibly but it’s probably too late for him to make the England squad can think of a few worse players in his position who will be considered..oh and Alvarez a goal and 2 assists well done pleased for him deserved it for his tireless running..

Alvarez was outstanding tonight
Ran his socks off and never gave up hope
A proper Argentine striker in the Tevez mould
What a brilliant alternative to Haaland
We are truly blessed
Brilliant to see our youngsters acquitting themselves so well

He shouldn’t be seen as Haaland’s alternative, or our second striker. He’s an attacking player anywhere in the forward line. I’m a fan of wingers being able to cut inside to their strong foot, so our front three should be;

LW: Alvarez ST: Haaland RW: Foden

1st half the formation was all wrong with the inverted FBs. 2nd half he pushed them high and wide and as a result, we had our most creative players on the ball more, rather then our defenders. Stretched them more and created more space. Chances then came plentifully.

Good result in the end after a frustrating first half.
Spot on. Interesting that Pep thought Lewis and Gomez would make good inverted full backs. Second half was very good.

Aged 22 years and 275 days, Julián Álvarez is the youngest Argentinean to be directly involved in three goals in a single UEFA Champions League match since Lionel Messi vs FC Bayern München in April 2009, also under Pep Guardiola (21 years 288 days). Blessed.

Wow - that is interesting, very interesting (look at his face LOOK at his face!)

Seriously, where did you get that from - its pretty nerdy (no offence).
