Well done Manuel - tactically spot on!

Sterling brilliant, that's what we want every week! Direct and decisive, best performance in a blue shirt for me. Kompany and Otamendi solid once more, looks to be a real partnership developing there; they both compliment each other there, something we haven't seen for a while.

Yet the best positive has to be Fernandinho and Fernando in the middle. We already knew they were a good combo, but added with the combined top performance by Yaya, made one of the best tactical midfield performances I've seen by a Manchester City side. Superb.

Now we just need to not get beaten in Turin and beat 'Gladbach at home. By no means an easy task, but by the message that this result will have sent out, possible. Sit back and take notice, Europe - Manchester City are coming.

Lots of folk questioning team selection/probable tactics in the pre match thread. You've got to admit Pellers set us up perfectly for that one. Well done all round to the management and team.

Fantastic performance by City. Not one of the team was anything less than excellent, but special mention must go to Raheem, Jesús and Nando.

However, MotM was Fernandinho. He was brilliant, both going forward and helping out in defence.

I cannot praise the team - and the performance - highly enough.

Manuel Pellegrini got it right, despite all those Bluemooners who knew better, and deserves full credit for it.

not read the thread , but if there are any negative posts after that performance , they should seriuosly give their head a wobble , quite possibly our best european performance to date , although the Roma game comes close , we controlled the match against a team renowned for their strength at home , we need to stuff Juve now and finish top of the group. Group of death ,my arse
