Sevilla v City post match thread

Everyone apart from Kolarov was class who got beat virtually every time someone took him on.

I hope Pellers realises we must play Fernandinho & Fernando in the KO stages. We can't drop one to have Silva & Toure in the side, midfield will get bossed.

I'm struggling to remember a better performance in the last 4 years, Away in Europe to a team unbeaten in 10, a team who has beaten Barcelona, who were unlucky at our place if we are being honest.

No Sergio,no silva and kdb on the bench

We actually looked like a very good professional team with a plan on how we would play the opposition, the midfield 3 and how the boss asked them to play was perfection, navas and sterling gave great balance and it was a very good call by pellegrini leaving out kdb, the last I looked we had 20 chances on goal and could have won by 5 or 6

Pragmatic, well thought out, balanced and very dangerous on the counter as well as in possession, just goes to show you can play attractive football more than one way

How the hell silva and kdb fit into that I don't know

Proper made up, a top performance in Europe

Great team set up by Pellegrini. Top performance from everyone involved. Need to push on and top the group now. Amazing away support tonight. Brilliant night all round.

Try living over here. There are two terrestrial stations that cover CL games live over here (TV3 on tuedays, RTE on wednesdays). This is gameweek 4, and we still haven't been shown live. Tonight we had the Real vs PSG game (staggered that it wasn't the rags). Coming up after the break, we're going to be treated to extended highlights from... guess!
I know Jim . I'm over here too .It's deplorable .

Sensational perfrmance. I thought leaving KDB out was a mistake but what the fuck do I know?! Great stuff and done without silva and Sergio!!

Everyone did their jobs superbly, I think that kind of performance (from players and management) showed a real coming-of-age in Europe, the kind of performances Barca, Chelsea and co have been turning in for years, doing enough to win easily, knowing that the group stage was pretty much a formality. Hopefully we can build on it by winning the group and really start to kick on in this competition. (If UEFA will let us)

Great job. Shame I'll never see it. Sick of being held to ransom by BT. I pay a ton each month for phone and broadband, another ton for Sky and they still want more and more money.
