My first family holiday abroad in 1982 was a coach trip across Europe leading to 6 nights in Lido di Jesolo. I enjoyed it at the time but no idea what it's like 40 years later. We did that 2017 but ended the break in Venice.
Bardolino is the place to stay on the lake , truly beautiful.
Verona is charming and I have said many times before, staying in Venice should be on everybody’s bucket list - easy train connection too.
I am told Lido di Jesilo is a good seaside location too.
That was the show we saw and I can confirm that it was fantastic. There are not many seats and therefore you are really close to the action. Shame we couldn't include some of this in our video I posted above because it is strictly no cameras. I'm not into dancing at all but it was a brilliant experience. This clearly isn't the one, cos buskers can't just pitch up and join in, but it is superb. Museo Del Baile Flamenco. It's in the Jewish Quarter. Dance floor downstairs, tiny museum upstairs. I went with Mrs Exeter when City played Seville a few years back. Show lasts about an hour and I won't lie, I thought it was brilliant. Just two dancers, a singer and a guitarist, all of them sensationally good. It's not free though. Cost about 20 Euros I think from memory
