Shearer, 1 prem? He had the chance to go to UTD twice and achieve something, but chose the extra 5 grand a week both times! Prick!

i dont think it was about the money,

Indeed it wasnt. Not defending his punditry as A) sounds like he was a bit out of order and B) never listen to their drivel anyways always mute tele or switch over at half/full time But he choose to come and play for his boyhood club turning down money and success in the process and he never deserted us despite our lack of trophies. Im sure any City fan would do the same if they were offered 30 pieces of gold to play for the rags :)

camera zooms in on Mario while hes saying something "oh hears Balotelli having a good moan again"

camera zooms in on Gerrard while hes saying something "gerrard is asking for one last push from the rest of the boys now"

I noticed that too. I just find it so laughable, in the other game Ronaldo was throwing tantrums, and it was passed off as his 'will and desire to win' or his 'passion'. Balotelli does much less and we get another stupid/mad Mario soundbite. There was even a moment in the game where the commentator said something like "Balotelli was going to react angrily there until he saw Lescott", over an incident which was absolutly nothing.

Balotelli isn't as good city fans seem to think. He goes missing in so many games and he misses 5 easy chances for every goal he scores. Sums him up for me when he was taking a free kick last night with him and Pirlo standing over the ball and I said to my mate "Balotelli will demand to take this and watch him sky this like he always seems to for city into row Z." My other mate, also a City fan disagreed with me. Obviously Balotelli skies it into row Z.

Saying that as biased as City fans are I've never ever EVER met more supportive fans. (except a few slating Dzeko despite him scoring more goals than Balotelli despite playing less games)
Curiously enough, I watch many City games also and don't see many go into row Z from Balotelli from free-kicks.

Dzeko played more minutes than Balotelli and ended up with a slightly higher goals per minutes ratio than him. Balotelli finished third highest, beating Rooney, Jelavic and Van Persie, and behind Berbatov and Cisse. Dzeko was sixth beating Van Persie. Both Dzeko and Balotelli beat Aguero interestingly enough. I actually agree with you that Dzeko is very very harshly treated by some on here. His stats are excellent but don't try to distort the argument the other way please.

Thought Klinsmann was good...........[/quote]

THIS - says a lot doesn't it that someone from another country speaking in a foreign language can do a hugely better job that the supposed best of British - well done Jurgen (but as usual against us you didn't have a lot to beat!)

Shearer and Balotelli are like chalk and cheese, Mario has a personality, Shearer has a reverse Mohican. The resentment is a little embarassing really, the older guys trying to belittle a younger, fitter footballer. Sad.

I'm not so sure it's racism so much as a deep desire for English players to dominate the Premiership. That a black Italian could obliterate every record in the league goes against everything they've every thought right in football.

And that's not racist how exactly?

After Parker tackled Balotelli the commentator said 'Balotelli looks angrily at Scott(y) Parker' How the fuck can you tell that when the camera's over 100 yards from him? I was also half wanting Balotelli to convert his chances

Heard that and it had me shouting at the telly. As i did when he Mario held up an apologetic hand to one of his team mates, but the commentator claimed Mario was 'having a go' at him.

I was just responding to the accusation of him choosing money over success. As for his punditry skills totally leave me non plussed as they all do to be fair. As much as I hate to say it give me Gary Neville over Shearer, Hansen, Keane, Carragher ANYDAY
