I hate these 1-0s. Yes; the Blades posed very little threat, really. But you don't know that while the game's going on. One Andros Townsend moment, or a defensive fuck up, and the server on here goes into meltdown.

Sheff Utd as expected defended for their lives with all 10 outfield players behind the ball and then just went to long balls up the pitch near the end.

Dias excellent again.
Walker very solid
Torres did well on the goal and offers more than Mahrez
Foden quite quiet but everything he does do is so technically good.
Jesus should have had two but did well for his first in sorting his feet out very quickly. ....
B. Silva ran his arse off again all match

Jesus played closer to goal than he has done for a while. No false 9 today.

That tells me Pep didn't expect their centrebacks to leave the box much.

Always difficult against bus parkers. We even had problems against teams like this when we won the league.

We are going to walk the league on the back of games like that.

Teams like Sheffield United still think this is the old City with Otamendi, Garcia and Old Stones at the back where if you keep it tight and 1-0 you have a chance for a draw at the end.

Its not the old City. You don't have a chance at 1-0.

Not at our best, passed the ball too slowly and didn't threaten a well organised Blades defence enough. Bernardo was everywhere and never stopped all afternoon. Dhino controlled the Midfield.

A win is all that matters. I think Cancelo, Stones and Sterling will return on Wednesday

Very flat performance and they almost nicked a point with Fleck's late shot. Gab scored but he was pretty meh for the rest of the game. Foden was out of sorts stuck out on the left, when he moved inside he was much better.
Defence solid again.
Hard to pick a MOTM form that, Silva worked very very hard.
Lucky for us we scored early doors as we created little afterwards.
Now, let's all get behind the Arse...
