Comfortable enough for a 1-0, though it was pretty turgid stuff for the most part. Very slow and safe play. Only Bernardo and Foden seemed to have the drive today. Hence, very few chances created.

Jesus got the goal and should have had another but found it hard going against their defensive organisation. As did the rest of them. The game just seemed to plod along.

Not exactly enthralling but a win is all that matters though and it is 3 good points so can't really complain.

Job done, 3 points, squad management for tougher games to come.

Scored as many as the illustrious Rags did against them but didn't leave the back door open with Laurel & Hardy on door duty.

The red rag media are now hitting the bottle with that result, a good win for the Blues, enjoy it.

Another clean sheet, another 3 points = the stuff of champions. Did just about enough against a dogged defensive team. Laporte easing back but needs to regain some confidence to not always turn inside, he was so reluctant to use his left foot and give us extra width. Other than that all did their jobs - special mentions for Dias (as usual), Bernardo for his work rate and Zinchenko who looked very comfortable. Onto the next one.

Another win, this time against an obdurate and skillfully dirty team. Clean sheets are king, but hey!, have we not broken some sort of record now? Imagine our neighbours in red managing that and it would be pages of nonsense everywhere on the BBC

Felt like we made that a lot harder than we needed to.

We should be using substitutes better.

Sure we won, and some will think i am just a moaning fucker.

My point is, when you take off an attacking player,to a team that had been creating fuck all.

You are saying we are defending now for the rest of the game.

really we should have just changed Jesus who was awful.

But that was risky by Pep,left us hanging on in a game we had dominated for 80 + minutes

Wasn't a great game but 3 points and a clean sheet so can't complain.
Thought the ref was crap.. Let them get away with lots of pushes that let them get the 2nd ball.
Bernie, Fern, Dias and Zinc were really good.. Laporte looked good too.
We seemed a bit sluggish but never really looked like conceding.
Hope the Arse can get a result tonight

Pep rolled the dice resting 5 players and it paid off. Don’t expect he’ll be doing that again (other than the FA cup) but we should be pretty fresh for Burnley now.

Sheff United were absolutely shocking and literally had zero intention of attacking until the last 5 mins so it was more about managing legs and the game - but we should have just blown them away in the first half and then coasted home.

Another clean sheet which is great.
