Got the early goal and basically contained energy for the rest of the game as they knew they were never going to cause much of a threat. They had a swingers punch with that shot late on but apart from that they looked like the Championship team they will be next season. A nice easy day at the office which is something I would dream of :)

How old is Dias? Twenty fucking three! 4 years from his prime - 6 years younger than Van Djik!

a couple of years ago this would have ranged from 2-0 to 5-0 as a score, given our attacking prowess. These weren't the games Dias was bought for although he bailed us out a few times, he should have had an easier game but he did what he needed to do to cover for others.

Eventually though a swingers punch will connect. We need to be careful. Tough games coming up though so hopefully we have some fresh players for them. Burnley had a lot of rest for this game.

We got away with a lot of poor performances last season (mainly defence) and I think pep let them off the hook for the brilliant two years prior. Pretty certain he’ll be right on them now making sure our standards don’t drop. Fantastic chance to win the league yet again this season and they know it

The BBC make me laugh. I've just read the report of the game on the website and they suggest that apart from a long range shot from Jesus., Bernardo's flicked header, and a couple of goes late on, we haven't really done anything yet their stats show 10 attempts to their one, ten corners to their none, and then award the Sheff U goalie MotM! It's risible. I fancy it was written yesterday.
