Yes, boosted him so much that he went on to have a poor performance and miss another 1v1 near the end. That pass to their keeper right at the end, from the corner flag, which enabled them to launch it forward in injury time summing everything up!

We so missed Stones, not defensively but he brings the ball into midfield. He’s also like an extra midfielder at times. We are much more fluent from defence to midfield with him in the side. Dias is just unplayable.

I said that the first goal would be extremely important, and so it was. If the opposition want to defend with a deep block until the 80th minute, even when they’re trailing, then just see the game out. They really only had one opportunity in the game, and the shot went wide. We were the better side by a mile and deservedly won the game. We’re going to come up against sides playing like this every once in a while. It’s vital that you defend well so that you give yourself the chance to score the first goal. We did that today. Can’t really ask for any more.

To be fair Rodri came on at 85 min because sheff we’re going route 1 with 3 strikers.
Pep obviously feels subs only when needed as I’m sure he feels it upsets the flow

Thank fuck for that, I couldn't stand another second of them two pricks willing Sheffield United to score, fuckin outrageous commentary once again.

Oh and has VAR clocked off before our match? Didn’t we get a pen v villa for a similar handball? Has that rule changed? Lots of VAR decisions on the pitch that usually get scrutinised yet not one got slowed down and shown from different angles.

Great 3pts, gritty performance with the handbrake on, did enough to beat an inform blades team.

3 great points but an awful game.

The drop off in quality when Cancelo is rested for Walker is very noticeable and affects much of our play both in attack and when building from the back.

Dias again brilliant,Bernardo and Phil not far behind,but MOTM was Dinho,as the turd Hinchcliffe stated.

We need a striker too,think that may have been mentioned previously.......
