Sheffield United (N) | FA Cup SF | Post-Match Thread

The crowd was interesting, lead to believe Sheff U had sold loads and we struggled to shift em.

Their end was empty, loads of gaps, empty sections yet ours seem to be full and seats sold in all sections!
Yet Sam Twaterface on TV made a big point about all the blades fans making a big effort to get to wembley & said absolutely fuck all about the city fans?

'It means a lot to be in final'

Manchester City
Hat-trick hero Riyad Mahrez, speaking to ITV1: "It feels very good [to score a hat-trick]. The most important thing is that two or three seasons in a row we've come here in the semi-finals and lost. Today, we wanted to make sure we got to the final. I think I had a good game.
"I don't know really which goal was the best. It's a good team achievement and we took the game seriously.
"It means a lot to be in final. We really want to work hard in every competition going. We're in the final of the FA Cup which is amazing. Now we have to concentrate on the league and the next game against Arsenal.
"We have a very good squad and a very good team. We have to keep going."
Walker's selfless lung busting decoy overlap was best for me - 2nd goal but third was a great finish

A weird game, considering I expected more SU supporters and fewer of our own, and it was the other was round. It felt more of some annual blues conference until habibi scored the second - btw so happy for him, proved again to be one of our greats (and PL's as well).
There is a very good player in that lad Gomez, particularly in this new Pep's system, he just needs more games. I would not give up on him. Happy Laporte got another game, terribly unlucky he cannot get the place among four CBs in the first eleven. And I think poor Kyle is still running around the stadium trying to overlap.

Heaven more like. I can’t fucking wait.
I've no problems match-wise!

But, as I suspect from other posts, and I know myself after the last time we played them there, the Rag lowlife gathered all the way along the route back to Wembley Park, picking off smaller groups of Blues!

We walked up to the Green Man, and by the time we got back to Wembley Park, you could feel the remnants of what had happened.

Most City fans nowadays travel in mini buses, small coaches, so I expect, if we play the Rags, a similar scenario.

Anyway, all the best Blues, and what an end to the season! Fantastic!
