Another piss poor performance but at least we have the 3 points. Our attack is concerning, considering how we barely put chances together.

There was some serious flapping on the match day thread but I think we played well. The back four and Rodri were excellent and we never looked like conceding a goal.

It would have been good to score a few more but in the second half we went into game management mode and did it very well.

Three points, back in the top 6 and only two points off the top spot. All sounds good to me.

Nervy as hell second half but job done. This season every time we take the lead we settle into this slow training ground keep ball routine. I understand conserving energy given the schedule but it’s incredibly dangerous with such a narrow lead and when we do concede we don’t seem to have the ability to step it up again.

Take a clean sheet and the defence looks a lot more solid but still plenty of issues in our play, city of 2/3 years ago wins that by 4 or 5

Considering we were away midweek and then given the early ko then the performance was ok. Tired in the second half which is understandable. Back four excellent and that could be our first choice defence. KDB looked shattered as did Torres. Can anyone explain how no yellow cards were given. OliVAR set the tone in the first five seconds by not getting his cards out and gave free license to Sheffield to kick us. Hope Pep mentions a lack of protection in his presser. Three points, clean sheet and a bottle of vodka in the fridge. Happy days.
