Sheffield Utd (A) post match thread

I hope that’s the case but I’m not entirely convinced it is, if we are creating dozens of chances but the striker/replacement is missing them then fine but we’re not really doing that, our attacking issues are predominately found away from the centre forward position. I suppose we will find out when Jesus is back.
Yeah course, let’s be real when a striker is back i think it’ll give everyone a confidence boost as they have a focal point in attack making the smart runs. I’m sure it’ll improve but i do think we have to take into consideration how compact teams play against us so its hard finding space

There is no joy in that City squad. Certainly no joy watching them. I enjoyed the Pearce days more that this. And I'm not joking. Give me Vassell and Cole over Sterling and Mahrez. Or
Bosvelt over Rodri. We are awful. Something needs to change. Probably the only change is me walking away finally.
Bye

I thought we were excellent 1st half mate.
I'm surprised at your criticisms. Our possession and speed of moving the ball around was 1st rate.
I think we got tired later on, and they brought on Lundstrum, their best midfielder.
Rodri I thought had a great game. Our defence is looking like a solid outfit.

A fairly routine victory, but City will always be vulnerable to the long diagona ball behind our left back, especially if we lose possession upfield.

Mahrez did a few decent things, but didn't do enough, whilst De Bruyne was trying too hard to play the unexpected reverse pass, as opposed to the easier option

We just need Dias and Laporte to avoid injury for the rest of the season
