Sheffield Utd (A) post match thread

Or, even better, you can go and read my post again and tell me where I've said that.

How about making subs earlier on to keep the tempo up? How about starting one of your best players instead of that ball hogging dickhead on the right wing? How about we stop giving opponents all the time in the world to get back and reorganise before we decide to actually attack?

If you thought that was an entertaining performance then fine, don't let me get in the way of your enjoyment. Personally, I think we've gone from being the most exciting team to watch in Europe to being one of those boring, sideways passing, possession for possession's sake teams over the last year.
Mate it’s clear we are not at our best, are playing every 3 days, have a depleted squad due to injuries. It’s clear to me game management and not chasing goals is our mantra at present to protect what we have as teams have worked us out and catch us on the break. Pep has even said so. So staying in touch is all that counts at present.
So entertained, not edge of my seat, but very satisfied with the result and performance.
Mahrez - I agree, but foden only real replacement on the bench and wasn’t he reported to be under the weather. Also more integral to team wanting to win Tuesday, not managing a 1 nil lead.

Backed kyle.to score anytime at 14's so all good. A very good win that, they are bastards to play against
Your the first person I thought of when Walker scored, I seen your comment yesterday and thought 'These things do tend to happen'. I asked in the Matchday Forum during the game 'Who was the lad that backed Kyle anytime?'. 14's is a pretty poor price considering he didn't score in a year, Thought it would of been a little more.

Well done fella!

Ok then...
Sorry i think it didn't make it clear I meant the backline is the reason we didn't let in a goal. I didn't think Rodri was the main reason we didn't conceded cause the backline did a good job.

There is no joy in that City squad. Certainly no joy watching them. I enjoyed the Pearce days more that this. And I'm not joking. Give me Vassell and Cole over Sterling and Mahrez. Or
Bosvelt over Rodri. We are awful. Something needs to change. Probably the only change is me walking away finally.
Ever considered happy pills?

Ok based on what? Big reason why we did not coincide today.

sadly Rodri is becoming the new boo boy fans just want to hate ?

but for me he is world class in that role and does so much to hold the whole of the middle of the park by himself
lots of unseen work just in front the back 4 and gives the likes KDB that space to go forward. i bet kevin and the forwards are the first to shake his hand knowing the work he does for them

every manager would love Rodri a work horse with talent and solid at the same time
nice to see somebody respecting his work and giving him motm

Kyles lack of celebration can only mean one thing, he’s out on the town in Sheffield tonight. Keep safe lad

Thought we looked more like what we expect, only thing missing which has been a bone of contention was creating chances but not taking them or the final ball being wrong or poor, defensively we look good as well, hope Walker gets a rest midweek as he deserves it been the best player for a while now cracking goal as well ..
